Vertical CNC Milling Services
Vertical machining is the bread and butter of any machine shop. You need these vertical machining tools to either prep for our 5 axis machines or finish parts coming off the multi-pallet machines.
They are also great for all prototype applications and for making fixtures. Our machining centers these days can move X,Y, and Z-axis at incredibly fast speeds with unparalleled accuracy. All of our vertical machining centers are made by Japanese machine tool manufacturers and are some of the best in the business.
We typically use, Kitamura and Makino vertical milling machines. The rapid traverse and programmable feed rates for these machines can reach speeds up to 2000 IPM while holding tolerances of up to .002mm. Almost all of our verticals are also equipped with Renishaw touch probes, and Nikkon 4th axis rotary tables. We also have an array of pallet-changing vertical machines, that are great for all production runs. Quality Assurance inspection
Other shops can machine parts, but B&Z can machine them with tight tolerances every time. When a part is completed it is taken to our QA department, where we have several state-of-the-art computer controlled measuring machines. We have three full-time inspectors at B&Z. All tools, equipment, and parts are calibrated, documented, and filed according to ISO 9001:2015 specifications.
